Welcome... Our InnerSelf welcomes your inner self.
I often find myself humming the song "Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me"... usually when I find myself stressed or upset with someone or something. There is so much truth in that expression... whatever we desire in the "outside world", it must start with us... And this week, as usual, our articles are focused on assisting us to create this world we dream of.
If our goal is "Intentionally Creating Favorable Change For Our World" then one of the first steps to take is "Connecting With and Reclaiming Your Navigational System" followed by "Searching for Heart in a World of Reason".
When we feel discouraged or sad, sometimes a good crying is needed as explained in "Using Your Tears to Build Joy from Sadness". And if you find yourself feeling judgmental about your family and acquaintances, this article may help you: "Acquisitive and Materialistic Family? Gaining Clarity About What Promotes Happiness".
And of course, we have additional articles focusing on a variety of topics from the Holy Grail to climate change. And Pam's weekly astrological journal is packed with great advice and information.
Wishing you enjoyable insightful reading, and of course a wonder-full, joy-full, and loving week.

Searching for Heart in a World of Reason

In our lives there are two great sources of information for perceiving and navigating the world available to us: the rational, analytical way of the mind, and the soulful felt sense of the heart. Of these two, the conscious mind completely dominates our modern...

Intentionally Creating Favorable Change For Our World
Written by Nan Moss with David Corbin
The longevity and genius of shamanism is that, in part, it is not hidebound to methodology. As such, shamanism is always metamorphosing as it evolves in response to the current, always-changing circumstances of the world (like the weather!).

Using Your Tears to Build Joy from Sadness
Written by Jude Bijou, M.A., M.F.T.
Sadness is a natural reaction to hurts and losses. When not expressed constructively, it silently eats at your heart until joy has to pack its bags and move out.
