Welcome... Our InnerSelf welcomes your inner self.
There is a Chinese curse (allegedly) that says "May you live in interesting times". I would definitely say that these are "interesting" times, and of course, they are also challenging. Pam Younghans, in this week's Astrological Journal, writes: "As we deal with all that has occurred recently, whether our experience has been very personal or more distant, we can allow these events to change us. The thoughts and emotions that move through us can initiate deeper shifts within, which will ultimately alter our course individually and collectively."
This week we look at how to handle these events in our lives. Anne Tucker gives us pointers on to "Get Rid of Ambiguity and Feel Good About The Choices You Make" while Maresha Donna Ducharme writes of "Finding Peace In Turbulent Times".
Nan Moss recommends "Expanding the Boundaries of Our Standard Worldview" and Eileen Workman suggests "Choosing Our Destiny By Picking A New Course Of Action". Will T. Wilkinson sums it all up in "It's Time To Take A Stand and Lead The Way".
And of course we have numerous additional articles on parenting, climate change, health, and much more... Scroll down below for the links to all of this week's new articles.
Wishing you enjoyable insightful reading, and of course a wonder-full, joy-full, and loving week.

Finding Peace In Turbulent Times
Written by Maresha Donna Ducharme
The possibility for creating peace must begin within each one of us as we become peaceful within ourselves. We are part of the whole. Our task is to heal separation, isolation, and defense of “us” as opposed to “them” within ourselves first; then we can bring that conscious awareness to all...

Expanding the Boundaries of Our Standard Worldview
Written by Nan Moss with David Corbin
When confronted with something that perplexes or confounds us, we tend to attribute our lack of understanding to not having enough facts or evidence, or we relegate it to the scrap heap of the supernatural. These are the modes of explanation available to us within the container of our standard worldview.

Choosing Our Destiny By Picking A New Course Of Action

It's Time To Take A Stand and Lead The Way
Written by Will T. Wilkinson
“They,” whoever they are, say that if you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything. What do you stand for? A handful of courageous activists like Mahatma Gandhi, Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King, Mother Theresa, Gloria Steinem, and Nelson Mandela, have changed the world because of their stand. But the idea of taking a stand...
